Privacy, briefly
Updated October 2026
It's a small site, so this is short too. Here's how it actually works.
What I count
I use Vercel Web Analytics, the measurement tool from the company that hosts this site. It counts how many people visit, which page, which site or link they came from, their country, and their device and browser type.
I also count which parts of the site get used: how far down the page people get, how many play with the Language Pie and which two numbers they end up with, which statements get ticked in "Who this is for", and which buttons get clicked.
Vercel Speed Insights also measures how fast the pages load.
All of it is counted as overall numbers. I don't know who you are.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies, and nothing is stored on your device for measurement. A visit is recognized only by a temporary code made from the page request, and that code is discarded after 24 hours.
No ads, and no Facebook, TikTok or Google pixels. I don't follow you to other sites and I don't record your screen. No name, email or anything you type is ever sent to the measurement tools.
Don't want to be counted?
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the site doesn't count your visit at all.
If you joined the waitlist
What's kept: your email address, your message if you wrote one, the fact that you ticked the consent box, the page language, the page you signed up from, and the date.
Why: only to tell you when the book is out, and to reply if you asked something. Signing up is entirely voluntary. If you don't, you simply won't get the announcement.
Where: in a private Google Sheet in my own Google Workspace account. Google stores the sheet and sends the emails, and Vercel hosts the site and passes the form along. Beyond that, your details are not sold or shared with anyone.
Unsubscribing and deletion: every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your details. Write to me: shai@primelang.com
To block abuse of the form, the server holds your IP address briefly, in memory only. I don't store it.
